Unique.</p> <p> </p> <p>Our Search &amp; Category Team is responsible for the development of key user-facing webshop features such as the product search, category pages, header, footer &amp; navigation with the focus of creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. We are a cross-functional and self-organized agile team that takes ownership of the design, development, testing and frequent releases of our various products and services. As an important touchpoint for our online customers we enable them to find the best products easily. To ensure a seamless experience we build and operate our microservices with high quality and state-of-the-art technologies.</p> <h2>Your tasks: You make a difference with us.</h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>As the Teamleader Engineer (m/f/d), you are responsible for the continuous development of a great variety of customer-facing features - from concept to operation.</li> <li>It is your responsibility to manage all technical aspects, driving technical decisions within your team, and ensuring the product's stability and quality. Furthermore, you maintain consistency between your services and our overall webshop microservice architecture.</li> <li>You hire, lead, and empower your engineers with passion by coaching, mentoring, and guiding them through their personal development. You inspire your engineers by acting as a role model and create a working environment where your engineers can thrive.</li> <li>Furthermore, act as the technical sparring partner for the Product Owner as well as other stakeholders in our organization, supporting roadmap planning, risk analysis and technical estimations.</li> <li>As part of our engineering leadership team you play an integral role in bringing our agile TECH organization to the next level by improving our processes, technical vision and overall architecture together with other leaders.</li> <li>Contributing to the improvement and consistency of our frontend architecture, you, as a frontend enthusiast, continuously challenge the status quo.</li> <li>You develop end-to-end with a full technology stack (frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD) and write clean and high-quality code.</li> <li>Lastly, you ensure a high standard of quality by providing code reviews, pair programming, TDD, giving feedback, and using best practices (e.g. style guidelines, testability, efficiency, and robustness).</li> </ul> <h2>Your profile: You keep discovering with us.</h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>You have a successfully completed degree in computer science/business informatics or have a comparable qualification, at least 7 years practical experience in software development and bring a passion for new technologies.</li> <li>You have hands-on experience as a Techlead/Teamlead or a comparable position leading a team of software engineers as well as experience in working with high-availability, distributed systems and services in a cloud environment like the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).</li> <li>As a servant leader and team player you are keen to play an important role in a highly cross-functional team, collaborating in an agile way (SCRUM/KANBAN).</li> <li>You have in-depth knowledge of one or more modern programming languages (e.g. Kotlin, Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript or Python) as well as in-depth experience in frontend technologies like Vue.js / React.js.</li> <li>Showcasing your natural affinity for designing and implementing RESTful API specifications will set you apart as an ideal candidate for our team.</li> <li>Experience in developing microservices with Spring Boot and Kotlin would be a plus.</li> <li>Confidence in writing and speaking in English and very strong problem-solving and communication skills complete your profile.</li> </ul> <h2>Your benefits: Together we stay different.</h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Profit from 30 days of vacation and the possibility to work from home office.
