The Opportunity

 The Finance Manager, TM Operations & Quality Headquarters, serves as a key finance business partner supporting Transfusion Medicine Operations and Quality leadership. This role is responsible for consolidating and managing the overall Ops & QA P&L, balance sheet, forecasting processes, and capital planning activities while providing financial insights to senior leadership. Financial planning activities include long-range plans, the annual plans, regular LBE’s, capital planning and headcount planning. Reporting activities include the monthly close, variance analysis, and internal management reporting. Monthly reporting results versus benchmarks including prior year, Plan and LBEs (Latest Best Estimates). The position leads a team of two Senior Financial Analysts and plays a critical role in strategic planning, financial reporting, and operational decision support across the organization. Provides primary financial support to DVP TM Operations & TM Quality Assurance. 

What You’ll Work On

  • Lead the consolidation and reporting of the Operations & Quality Headquarters P&L and Balance Sheet for Monthly Close, LBEs, Annual Plan, Organic Execution Model (OEM). Including telling the story of what is driving the business.

  • Prepare and deliver executive-level financial analyses and presentations.

  • Present quarterly financial results, forecasts, capital spending updates, and business insights to the Transfusion Medicine Vice President and other senior leaders.

  • Communicate complex financial information in a clear and actionable manner for executive decision-making.

  • Drive forecasting accuracy and provide financial analysis to support business decision-making.

  • Develop and present financial insights, risks, opportunities, and corrective action plans to leadership.

  • Serve as the primary finance partner for Operations Headquarters, Quality Headquarters, and Two Distribution Centers, including one international location in Germany, requiring management of foreign exchange impacts and reporting considerations.

  • Support departmental leaders with budgeting, forecasting, productivity initiatives, and strategic investments.

  • Provide financial guidance and recommendations to the Divisional Vice President (DVP) of Operations and DVP of Quality.

  • Maintain ownership of the Transfusion Medicine Capital portfolio.

  • Lead capital planning, forecasting, reporting, and executive review processes.

  • Partner with engineering, operations, and project teams to evaluate capital investment opportunities and monitor project execution against approved budgets.

  • Directly manage two Senior Financial Analysts.

  • Provide coaching, workload prioritization, and professional development opportunities to ensure a high-performing finance team.

  • Foster collaboration across finance and business functions to achieve organizational objectives.
