General Accountant – 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract

What does your new role consist of?

WSP is looking for a General Accountant (M/F) based in our Lyon office to respond to an internal evolution related to the recent acquisition/integration of a company.

Under the responsibility of the Accounting Manager, you will have the following main missions:

Financial accounting:

• Support on various key accounting processes (provisions, exceptional transactions) to ensure that monthly closings are completed on time
• Support to the accounting manager for monthly closings;
• Analyze the general accounts of provisions, fixed assets and balance sheet;
• Calculate monthly and annual provisions;

• Support for the entry, clocking and lettering of customer and supplier accounting entries;
• Contribute to the preparation of an accounting system migration
• Actively participate in the improvement of processes and tools

What if it was you?

• With a background in Finance/Accounting, you have at least 8 years' experience in similar missions and activities,
• Mastery of the office pack and solid skills in IT tools are required (ERP, accounting software).
• You have a professional level of English that allows you to interact with all internal stakeholders.
• Your rigor and precision, sense of organization and your analytical skills are necessary assets to carry out the missions of this position.
• Your adaptability, good stress management and ability to work in a team will allow you to adapt quickly in a growing environment with the integration of new activities and the implementation of processes.

Conditions: Fixed-term contract - 6 months; Potentially extendable by 3 months
