Job Description
Job Title: Business Development Representative
Department & Team: Enterprise West
Reports to: Sylvia Wanderaas
Location: Virtual Office - Western Region / Pacific Time Zone (AZ, UT, CA WA)
Summary:
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts by identifying and qualifying potential leads, initiating conversations, creating opportunities, and paving the way for successful sales conversions. Your focus will be on nurturing relationships and connecting with enterprise prospects in western region of US.

Key Responsibilities
- Build rapport with contacts by offering resources (webinar invitations, white papers, relevant blog articles, etc.) and understanding where the prospect is in the buying process.
- Transform Marketing leads to sales opportunities, by educating and challenging prospective buyers.
- Partner with field sales representatives on targeting account planning and competitive strategies.
- Engage in outbound prospecting including cold calling and leveraging intent data to generate interest.
- Assist in live inbound chats and phone calls and follow-up via phone and email on leads from web, events, email campaigns, etc.; ask for referrals.
- Follow best practices for maintaining Salesforce.com database accuracy and completeness by updating records regularly.
- Expand on key buying personas and units in target companies (via internal and external subscription databases, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Engage with social media channels to effectively build relationships and interact with prospects and customers.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent experience (2+ years)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Displays a sense of curiosity and problem solving in uncovering prospect/customer needs.
- Demonstrated ability to actively listen.
- Comfortable reaching out to new contacts via phone and/or other channels and building rapport.
- Ability to constantly prioritize work with strong time management skills.
- Resourceful and ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Driven to exceed defined individual and team targets and quotas.
- Comfortable with remote and distributed teams, as well as flexible work arrangements.
Additional Requirements
- Salesforce and Lead Management platforms (i.e. Outreach, Salesloft) experience is a plus.
- Business-related application skills (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Savvy with social selling, blogging, video, as well as all digital collaboration tools is a plus.
Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
$40,400.00 - $79,200.00Benefits:
