POSITION OVERVIEW:
Parsons seeks a Senior Program Director to play a key role in growing our traditional transportation design services with TxDOT (and other agencies). The successful candidate, working with our management team will drive this growth, increase our win rate, and increase our sales pipeline. The market is robust and accessible to Parsons with addition of a few key staff in the large metro areas in Texas. The Program Director role will include participating in the Texas strategy development working the leadership team, client outreach especially for major South Texas TxDOT districts (Houston, San Antonio, etc.), and, as assigned, serve as capture manager for priority pursuits.

Parsons is now hiring an experienced Senior Program Director with a desire to work on creating innovative, practical solutions to various projects that enhance the fabric of our community. For assigned projects you will be responsible for the scope development, scope management and commercial performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives. Plans and defines program goals and devises methods to accomplish them; develops in depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms and corporate policies.
Ready to lead our team? In this role you will oversee our design staff based in Houston Texas. This role can eventually expand to central Texas. In this role you will mentor and challenge our team to deliver great results. You will help our team set and achieve goals supporting Parsons objectives and each individuals career path.
This job is based in our Houston, TX office.
Parsons has immediate projects with the Texas Department of Transportation and other large public agencies which will expose engineers to a large variety of tasks. Some field review activities may be associated with the assigned tasks, so engineers are expected to be able to travel for these assignments on an as-needed basis.
Other upcoming work opportunities include large scale design-build proposals/projects located in Texas and in other states, plus civil engineering assignments associated with various transit projects in North America.
