Position Summary:
The Department of Business in the College of Liberal Arts at Rollins College is seeking applicants for a tenure track position in Business in Economics and Statistics at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in August 2026.
The minimum requirement is a PhD in Business, or a closely related discipline in business economics and/or business statistics and preferably from an AACSB accredited institution; ABDs will be considered. Some college-level teaching and practical business experience is highly desirable. Candidates must have the ability to develop and deliver curriculum; meet the demands of the position in a timely manner; and assess student learning outcomes. In addition, candidates should have strong oral and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
The normal teaching load will be the equivalent of six courses a year, typically three courses per semester. Class section sizes are typically 18-24 students per class. Rollins College is committed to liberal education and encourages faculty to contribute to the general education programs of the college. Summer teaching may be available.
AACSB International accredits the undergraduate business programs at Rollins College. The Department of Business offers undergraduate majors in Business Management and International Business. The Business Management major is offered to both day and evening students. The department also offers minors in Business Management and International Business.

Minimum Qualifications and Education:
- PhD in business or a closely related discipline in business economics and/or business statistics - ABDs will be considered.
- Experience teaching at undergraduate college level.
- Ability to teach required and elective classes in economics and statistics, employing in-person and hybrid modalities, and for the day and evening programs.
- Demonstrated ability to produce academic scholarship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD from an AACSB-accredited Program.
- Practical business experience.
- Specialty in Business Economics and Business Statistics.
