The Opportunity
We are currently seeking Quality Assurance Coordinator role to add to our team in Joplin, MO facility. The role will conduct tests to determine quality of raw materials, work in process and finished products. The incumbent will study processes to establish proper quality procedures and implement continuous quality improvements.

The role will require occasional travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples.
• Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms.
• Evaluate analytical methods and procedures to determine how they might be improved.
• Identify quality problems and recommend solutions.
• Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release.
• Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to established item specifications, standard test methods, or protocols.
• Perform validations or transfers of analytical methods in accordance with applicable policies or guidelines.
• Prepare or review required method transfer documentation including technical transfer protocols or reports.
• Receive and inspect raw materials.
• Supply quality control data necessary for regulatory submissions.
• Write or revise standard quality control operating procedures and method sheets.
• Write technical reports or documentation such as deviation reports, testing protocols, and trend analyses.
• Coordinate testing with contract laboratories and vendors.
• Develop and qualify new testing methods.
• Ensure that housekeeping and safety standards are maintained.
• Evaluate new technologies and methods to make recommendations regarding their use.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Participate in internal assessments and audits as required.
• Perform visual inspections of finished products.
• Serve as a technical liaison between quality assurance and other departments, vendors, or contractors.
• Calibrate, validate, or maintain job related equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; associate degree (two-year college or technical school minimum) in related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting required.
• Experience in the manufacturing principles of Six-Sigma, Quality Assurance, and Lean Manufacturing preferred.
