What You’ll Do
As an Cycle Counter, you’ll be part of our team located in Jackson, TN. You’ll get to:
- Accurately count items by location and systematically record count details into Cycle Count application.
- Reconcile inventory variances.
- Determine root cause for inventory variance.
- Identify item variances requiring recounts based on company policy.
- Prepare and send detailed cycle count reports for all counts.
- Perform audits as assigned to correct inventory errors as they occur.
- Ability to plan, organize and possess analytical skills to ensure success of daily tasks.
- Understands and follows the Jackson site’s environmental policy and the environmental impacts associated with their work activities
- Full ownership and responsibility for the Material Item-Master, BOM’s, and Routers in SAP.
- Accountable for understanding the Master Data Structure for all in-scope ERP Applications (Financial, Customer, Vendor, and Material)
- Support the Jackson Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams throughout product lifecycle
- Cross functional support across other teams as it relates to the SAP and materials database systems
- Execute changes to SAP master data (e.g. customer, vendor, materials etc.) as approved by the business
- Ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency of master data
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

- Takes ownership or projects and area of responsibility
- Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates effective presentation skills
- High school or GED equivalent plus 1 year of equivalent experience and/or training.
- 2+ years SAP experience required
- 2 or more years of Master-Data, Inventory Control, Operations, Production Planning, Purchasing or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
