Description
Heartview Foundation, a respected nonprofit addiction treatment center, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Residential Services to lead our residential unit in Bismarck, ND. Position Overview:
As the Director of Residential Services, you will oversee residential staff and programming to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. You will supervise daily operations, coordinate training, collaborate with clinical leadership, and play a key role in delivering services that support patients on their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support residential staff, ensuring consistency in patient care and adherence to policies.
- Lead daily staff meetings and coordinate clinical coverage as needed.
- Oversee and assist with staff development, training, and certification compliance.
- Collaborate with nursing and clinical leaders to uphold medication protocols and quality standards.
- Provide direct support during patient or staff crises, including after-hours when necessary.
- Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to organizational planning and improvement.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health or related field; or equivalent years of experience in behavioral health or related field.
- Must hold a professional license in the area of practice (if applicable).
- 3-5 years of experience in a behavioral health or substance use disorder (SUD) related position with supervisory responsibilities, or progressively increased supervisory responsibilities.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certified or willingness to obtain.
- Medication Assistant I and Nurse Aide certified or willingness to obtain.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
