Senior Software Engineer, Growth

As a Senior Software Engineer, Growth you’ll be responsible for building foundational self-serve and growth products for onboarding customers, improving retention, and connecting product and GTM systems such as billing, pricing, and packaging.

You will be mentoring our talented engineering team. Your past experience will be leveraged to enable and accelerate Vanta’s growth.

What you’ll do as a Software Engineer at Vanta:

• Growth engineers at Vanta work iteratively. They hypothesize, build, test and measure. They are continuously improving their understanding of the customer's journey.

• Lead both strategic and iterative projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers to deliver significant impact to our business.

• Design, develop, and own new product functionality and/or infrastructure leveraging modern frameworks and tooling (TypeScript, React, Node.js).

• Work with talented and kind engineers to make a significant impact on our customer base, enabling them to improve their security and prove it.

• Contribute to building Vanta’s engineering culture as we grow.

How to be successful in this role:

• Have at least 5 years of industry experience

• Have played technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects

• Have previous startup experience, or worked in an environment that prioritizes a bias for action

• Have played technical leadership roles in growth engineering.

• Have an interest in learning about security or prior experience in the space

 Pay Range: $139,000 - $164,000; If you are offered the position, your offer amount will be based on your experience.
