~ The main purpose of this role is to strengthen the overall security posture of the organization by supporting the Information Protection Center (IPC) to implement cybersecurity measures that safeguard the assets of Hyundai Motor America.
~ The Assistant Manager, Enterprise Cybersecurity of IPC (Infosec Protection Center) is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations in the management, improvement, and implementation of cybersecurity initiatives. The role is responsible for leading complex activities working in partnership with various IT/ Security and business teams to implement security measures that comply with regulations, policies, and standards related to cybersecurity.
Major Responsibilities
~ Provide support of the management of cybersecurity performance objectives and standards across Hyundai Motor America & affiliates.
~ Use advanced knowledge to design and implement IT security controls and procedures aligned with NIST Cybersecurity framework, ISO standards, and cybersecurity best practices.
~ Perform evaluation of security tools and conduct assessment of the effectiveness of internal controls concerning cybersecurity policies and processes.
~ Assist with the management of security tools such as firewalls, infrastructure, IPS, IDS. Review report logs, test security measures, and work with security teams and business units to achieve security information and security objectives for the Company.
~ Act as the primary liaison and escalation point of contact to IT Security Operations to support continuous monitoring, testing of security controls, and deployment of remediation plans.
~ Collaborate with IT Security Operations, GRC, Application Development, Infrastructure, and business units to deploy, and enforce information and security measures across Hyundai Motor America and affiliates.
~ Develop and support cybersecurity roadmaps for the enterprise and affiliates. Provide technical guidance for cybersecurity solutions, measures, and product capability to support the roadmap and security goals for the enterprise.
~ Lead and deploy security projects and tools on time to meet program requirements, standards, and procedures.
~ Support enterprise and department programs to ensure security controls are implemented before program is deployed.
~ Lead Disaster Recovery Exercise and cross-functional testing between technical and Business Units to ensure overall recovery of data and systems for critical applications.
~ Collaborate with Business Continuity Program Managers and Crisis Management Teams on policies, mitigation strategies, preparedness training, and continuous improvement to protect, respond and recover data and applications in the event of a disruption.

~ Assist with Incident Response Plan (IRP) and activities including reporting of cybersecurity incidents.
~ Prepare and present reports on cybersecurity performance, Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), metrics, and objectives.
~ Prepare documentation of cybersecurity awareness and training campaigns, processes, and procedures.
~ Support and maintain budget process planning of cybersecurity initiatives.
~ Provides mentorship to Sr. Associate of Enterprise Cybersecurity and GRC, and guide support teams within IPC division.
~ Exercise independent judgement to perform ad-hoc operational cybersecurity tasks as necessary.

~ Must be a high school graduateBachelor's degree or higher in Cyber security, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field.Related Experience
~ Five or more years of cybersecurity experience in medium to large enterprise preferred with a strong foundation in cybersecurity policies and procedures.
~ Experience working with security tools, technologies, and solutions.
