The Product Manager II, Customer Data will be a member of the Customer Experience Product team, supporting Spring Health customers data deliveries, including standard and bespoke reporting, vendor integrations, and data feeds. As the driver of data deliverables and the primary liaison between technical teams and internal and external stakeholders, this role plays a critical role in telling the Spring Health value story. The PM II is responsible for executing many projects and deliverables within a technical team, ensuring that all projects remain unblocked, meet business requirements (legal, privacy, and contract), and stay within scope. The person in this role must be a star communicator, both verbally and in writing, and have experience managing technical projects with large Enterprise customers including Employers and Health Plans. They must be a highly organized, self-motivated problem solver and have the ability to thrive in a hyper growth start-up environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Process creation and expectation management
- Works cross-functionally to develop processes for data requests triage
- Creates, monitors, enforces, and continuously improves intake processes
- Establishes alignment with stakeholders on prioritization criteria
- Sets SLAs with stakeholders
- Internal and external communications
- Creates internal and external documentation for data requests and integrations
- Ensures compliance with Spring Health data privacy and contract terms
- Escalates immediately as required
- Attends regular customer and vendor meetings as required to deliver status updates, gather requirements for new data requests, answer questions (sometimes technical in nature) about data definitions, schema, and legal policies
- Prepares and delivers project status and summary for executive audiences
- Project Management
- Manages the queue of data and integration requests from internal and external customers
- Creates, manages, enforces, and continually improves prioritization criteria
- Main customer liaison for all new and existing ad hoc reporting requests, data warehouse integrations, rewards integrations, custom partner integrations, and future partner data integrations.
- Removes roadblocks for technical and business teams with resourcefulness and by strategically escalating when necessary
What success looks like in this role:
- Highest levels of customer satisfaction around communication and deliverables for data reporting and integrations
- Clear expectation-setting around deliverables and timelines with customers, partners, and stakeholders
- Reduced issue escalations around data reporting and integrations
- Increasing data deliverables provided through automation
- Iterative improvements to data reporting and sharing infrastructure that provides technical efficiencies and proactive response to customer needs

- 2+ years experience managing technical, cross-functional projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication internally and with customers
- Ability to set expectations with customers
- Exhibits leadership qualities - ability to set clear goals and priorities and motivate a team without direct authority
- Executive presentation skills
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Technical fluency with data services, data schemas, data privacy policies
- Author technical documentation - ability to co-author customer enablement docs with technical teams. Includes data dictionaries, standard feed specs, etc.
