About the role

At TixTrack, we support our clients by creating superior ticketing solutions for performing arts and cultural institutions through a combination of modern technology, beautifully simple design, and the art of listening.

Headquartered in the heart of the Broadway Theatre District, NYC, we are a small, but growing team of hardworking, highly motivated individuals. We are passionate about our work and driven to innovate with our customers to solve current and future challenges with new solutions.

Our core product, Nliven, is a real-time platform that helps venues manage ticket sales efficiently while creating a more engaging buying experience for customers. With a presence across both the US and UK, we are anticipating robust growth in 2026.

Even with a highly dispersed, largely remote workforce, we stay connected through our Slack channels, virtual events and regional meetups. Come see how we “role”.

About The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of shaping how we build, scale, and evolve our Nliven platform. This role is for someone who thrives on solving complex technical challenges while helping others grow and succeed around them.

You’ll lead the development of performant, scalable applications across both the frontend and backend, leveraging .NET Core and modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue. Whether you're designing new features, optimizing critical services, or tackling tech debt head-on, you'll have a direct hand in driving technical excellence.

You’ll report to an Engineering Manager and own the end-to-end delivery of medium-scale projects, with the tools to shape solutions and the responsibility to see them through. If you're ready to bring energy, leadership, and craft to a fast-moving environment. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact.

This position is full-time and fully remote. Candidates must be located in one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, California, Oregon, Colorado, Texas, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Louisiana, Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Candidates may be required to travel and/or meet up in-person from time to time. There may also be an expectation in the future for hybrid work in a local office.

About You

  • You take ownership naturally and follow through. When you commit to a solution, you see it through to a high standard.

  • You enjoy balancing hands-on technical work with mentoring others, raising the bar not just for code quality but for how the team works together.

  • You’re comfortable operating in ambiguity, asking the right questions, and turning evolving requirements into thoughtful, scalable solutions.

  • You care about building the right thing, not just building fast, and you value collaboration with Product and Design to create meaningful user impact.

What You'll Do

  • Drive large projects from conception to delivery working lockstep with Product Managers, Designers, and other engineers.

  • Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code across the technology stack.

  • Collaborate with Product and Design teams to develop solutions that align with business objectives.

  • Contribute to and maintain technical documentation, such as system designs and API contracts, to ensure shared team understanding.

  • Lead and participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices.

  • Develop and enforce coding standards, best practices, and design principles across the engineering team.

  • Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize system reliability.

  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact and adoption.

  • Act as a technical mentor for junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Contribute to architectural discussions and long-term technical roadmaps.

  • Solve complex technical challenges related to performance, scalability, and security.

  • Aid in the product team to design features from concept through production, including instrumentation, monitoring, and iterative improvement based on usage and feedback.
