Sentar is seeking a Cyber Operations Center Cyber Security Integration Lead in Charleston, SC!

Role Description:

The Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) Integrated Product Team (IPT) is charged with the mission of conducting Defensive Cyberspace Operations to defend subscriber networks. The DHA Cybersecurity Operations Center (CyOC) coordinates and orchestrates cybersecurity activities execution at the DoD Component scale for DHA to protect information systems against unauthorized activity, vulnerabilities, or threats.

The Defensive Cyber Operations CyOC Cyber Security Integration support staff will serve as the initial touch point to monitor and track cybersecurity integration of all DHA Internal and External Partner Subscriber systems validating cyber activities are expeditiously and efficiently aligned to services within CyOC Operations, Subscriber Tool Management, Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP), DHA departments, DHA sites and facilities, and external entities as required. The CyOC Cyber Security Integration team provides status reports to DHA Leadership throughout the lifecycle of an integration effort, from system initiation of RFM lifecycle through step 6 authorization/operation/continuous monitoring, track and provide historical metrics upon request.

• Adhere to and implement DHA policies and procedures in accordance with the DHA MedCOI Zone Architecture, Comply to Connect Initiative and DHA Zero Trust Architecture implementation, but not limited to:
  • Participation in DHA MEDCOI ESA-BAD Onboarding and Governance process
  • Evaluation of Subscriber requirements mapped to existing DHA Cyber services identifying gaps and deviations for further coordination as necessary.
  • Oversight of Roles and Responsibilities development as they relate to cyber security integration efforts.
• Coordinate cyber security integration activities with DHA Internal and External Subscribers.
  • Collaborate with the CSSP on incorporating CSSP tools solutions to new deployed systems.
  • Coordinate with the CSSP, DHA sites, and DHA IT departments to ensure CyOC cyber security integration is documented in support of DHA’s overall mission.
  • Identify operational, administrative, or resourcing deficiencies as necessary for senior leadership situational awareness and to garner guidance.
  • Track cyber security integration status and provide timely and accurate reports to DHA leadership.
• Coordinate with the DHA ESA-BAD Governance and DHA Internal/External Partners on the integration of systems to validate compliance monitoring tracking and reporting impacting DHA information systems.
• Develop documentation, including standard operating procedures, process models, flow charts, templates, and forms to ensure CyOC cyber security integration coordination activities are comprehensive and repeatable.

Qualifications:

Clearance Level: Minimum Secret clearance

Education: Technical Bachelors degree with 6 years of technical experience or 10 years of technical experience

• Knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity architecture principles and practices
• Knowledge of network security architecture concepts including topology, protocols, components, and principles
