SCHEUDLE: 4 - 10 HOUR DAYS TUESDAY -FRIDAY 830A-7P

Ensures all order entry and fulfillment functions are performed in a timely and accurate manner.  Ensures relevant input is complete, accurate, and ready to be filled and toted accurately and efficiently. Oversees data entry and fulfillment technicians to ensure adequate staffing/resources are available to meet business demands of Data Entry and Fulfillment departments.

Essential Job Functions (include the following): 

  • Schedule technicians to ensure adequate coverage for workflow while keeping overtime within budget
  • Oversee daily activities of technicians and ensure workflow is running smoothly
  • Ensure each technician is fully trained and performing at an acceptable level
  • Work with DOO or Department Supervisor to evaluate workflow processes and help implement changes as necessary to meet deadlines, accuracy, and efficiency targets and the demands of the business
  • Ensure all medications for order entry and fulfillment are complete and accurate prior to scheduled departures with sufficient time for the medications to be prepared for courier delivery
  • Ensure all deliveries are prepared and completed timely for courier pick up
  • Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently
  • Assist DOO or department Supervisor with annual performance evaluations of technicians, providing input as needed
  • Work as needed on daily functions in each department
  • Assign and manage work volume appropriate to each technician’s duties, measuring both productivity and accuracy
  • Responsible to ensure run completion status (dashboard) is completed throughout the day
  • Provide weekly performance feedback of the departments to the DOO or department Supervisor
  • Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed

Education and/or Certifications 

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements), required

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
  • Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required
  • Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
  • Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
  • Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and work with DOO when something appears inaccurate
