  Position Overview:

As a Senior Software Engineer at Ambient, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, scaling, and operating large-scale distributed systems. Your strong analytical and debugging skills will be essential in ensuring the robustness and reliability of our systems. You will thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and will possess a strong bias towards action and delivering results, all while maintaining a keen eye for high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, scale, and operate large-scale distributed systems.
• Utilize strong analytical and debugging skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
• Demonstrate a strong bias towards action and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Adapt quickly to changing environments and new technologies.
• Work proficiently with Unix-based systems.
• Leverage expertise in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Go, or C++, to develop and maintain software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
• Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of the systems you build and maintain.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
