GENERAL & ADMINISTRATION - Operational Control Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Analyst to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply planning function.

Job Summary:
The Operational Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining operational accuracy, regulatory compliance, and inventory integrity across condiment manufacturing and distribution locations. This role supports quality, traceability, and warehouse controls through hands-on execution, investigation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational & Quality Control
• Manage label formatting and printing for all condiment production locations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee bottle coding processes and investigate/respond to quality complaints related to product coding issues.
• Maintain lot control for shippers and display items to ensure full traceability across the supply chain.
Regulatory & Compliance Support
• Submit X-ray certification documentation to the Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC).
• Serve as the primary point of contact for DHEC and respond to any follow-up requests or related regulatory communications.
Inventory Control & Warehouse Oversight
• Monitor and investigate negative inventory levels, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Review and resolve load staging errors to ensure accurate shipment preparation and inventory movement.
• Manage warehouse inventory locations to maintain system accuracy and physical alignment.
• Oversee count event range controls to ensure accurate cycle counts and physical inventory processes.
• Issue, track, and control scan guns to ensure proper usage and accountability within warehouse operations.
Education & Experience:
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
• Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse operations
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Familiarity with quality systems, labeling, and product traceability
• Effective communication skills for interaction with internal teams and regulatory agencies
• Ability to manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with excel, word, outlook and other general computer applications.
