Direct Procurement Category Senior Specialist

<p>In Alfasigma we're Hiring an ESO Procurement Category Senior Specialist.<br/>Join our dynamic procurement department and play a strategic role in shaping procurement excellence within our External Supply Organization Team.</p> <p>As a <strong>Category Senior Specialist</strong>, you will support the Category Manager in identifying, evaluating, and managing supplier partnerships to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. From supplier research and quotation management to price negotiation and spend analysis, you’ll be at the heart of a fast-paced, cross-functional environment driving procurement strategies for critical categories.</p> <p>Key Resposibilities:</p> <ol> <li>Researching Suppliers: -Support the Category Manager Conduct market research to identify reliable and competitive suppliers. -Evaluate potential partners based on their ability to meet the company’s requirements in terms of quality, quantity, and cost.</li> <li> Requesting Quotations: -Communicate with potential suppliers, clearly explaining the company’s needs. - Request detailed and precise quotations from suppliers.</li> <li>Price Negotiation: -Participate in negotiations with suppliers.</li> <li>Order Management: -Oversee orders, ensuring correct processing and timely delivery of products or services.</li> <li>Collaboration with Other Departments: - Work closely with other departments to ensure integrated supply management and an efficient supply chain.</li> <li>Document Management: -Maintain organized records of contracts, quotations, purchase orders, and other relevant communications.</li> <li>Category Spend Analysis: -Support the Category Manager to assess a complete review of the current spending, evaluating potential optimization on the vendor base or cooperating with other departments to identify the most effective purchasing process to support internal requirement.</li> </ol> <p> </p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.</li> <li>Proven experience in direct procurement, experience in pharma industry as a plus.</li> <li>API/ESO knowledge is a plus.</li> <li>Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power Point).</li> <li>Proficency in SAP is a plus.</li> <li>Chemistry Proficency is a plus.</li> <li>Detail-oriented and results-driven.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Company:</strong></p> <p>Alfasigma is a pharmaceutical company, born in 2015 from the merger of two historic Italian companies.
