Electric Propulsion at Volvo Cars is the core competence center in Northern Europe regarding Li-ion technology and automotive battery systems. We can offer you to be in the forefront of the tech de¬velopment and at the same time enjoy work life balance among other benefits. We collaborate closely with universities, our research teams in Shanghai, as well as with NOVO Energy - our joint venture with Northvolt. The Battery Hardware Department within Electric Propulsion is responsible for developing the heart of our high voltage battery systems and you will play an important role for us to reach our aim of fully electric. </p>

Are you an engineer with interest to learn more about battery cell development? Then the role as project leader within our Cell Integration team is the place for you to prosper. We are responsible for the integration and deployment of high-quality modules and cells into all Volvo platforms.</p>

What you’ll do<br/>
<br/>
You will be the front figure towards battery suppliers in your assigned projects and you drive and lead the x-functional teams required for a successful delivery. <br/>
</p>
<p>• You will ensure that the design fulfills all requirements including performance, durability, safety, quality, time and cost according to the project pre-requisites. <br/>
• You will coordinate and lead the work where our attribute teams contribute with their specific in-depth knowledge<br/>
• You will cooperate closely with other teams within our organization such as SW, CAE, testing, quality and the system team. </p>

<p>• We see that you have experience and a good track record of deliverables from project lead work. <br/>
• You have at least a master’s degree or equivalent work experience preferably in chemistry, material science or equivalent. <br/>
• You need to possess strong analytical skills and a problem-solving approach throughout the working process. <br/>
• You have a high integrity and excellent communication skills. <br/>
• You are fluent in English.<br/>
• Experience from Li-ion battery cell and module design is highly meritorious.<br/>
• Experience from Catia V5 is meritorious.<br/>
