ROLE SUMMARY
Source to Pay delivers world-class procurement capabilities to Pfizer, partnering with internal Pfizer customers to ensure they receive maximum value for every dollar spent with Pfizer suppliers. We accomplish this by executing effective strategic processes, including category management, supplier management and sourcing projects, all supported by efficient procure to pay processes. We add value by aligning Pfizer with the best suppliers, promoting continuous improvement in supplier performance and driving compliance with Pfizer’s intellectual property and privacy requirements. Enterprise Indirect Sourcing (EIS) team translates business needs into supply solutions that improve the quality of service. Indirects will partner with key SES and enabling functions to seamlessly execute and mitigate risk.
This role will be a key member of EIS. This role will drive team performance management and reporting, growth enablement, and communications. EIS manages $9B spend, Policy, Compliance, ESG, and Supplier Risk Management. This person will lead EIS management system framework to ensure track and enable critical team value delivery. In addition this person will ensure consistent and effective supplier performance management across Enteprise Indirects. Lastly, this person will lead key aspects of team culture, growth, and communication within the team and with key stakeholders.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
I - Category strategy Understanding
The role is a key partner to the Category teams. As such, they should understand and have experience in developing a sourcing strategy that translates business need into sourcing solutions. This in turn will enable the Program Lead to better partner with the Category teams, proactively bring create solutions and accelerate innovative adoption.
In partnership with the Category Teams, the role will partner with suppliers account management team and subject matter experts to dive deeper into related supplier programs, facilitate adoption of key efforts and partner in driving performance improvement.
II - Sourcing activity and contract negotiation:
Understand and translate contract service level agreements and key performance indicators into trackable and actionable supplier performance improvement.
III - Supplier Relationship Management (SRM):
In partnership with Category Teams, establish healthy supplier relationships relative to overall performance improvement and specifically relative to key program, e.g., sustainability, improvement
Establish SRM standard governance for approximately 100 Indirects suppliers including minimum reporting criteria, performance criteria and regular measurement and reporting relative to strategic value of the supplier.
Enable and support each Category team in leveraging developed tools to actively improve our supplier relationship and performance.
Leverage existing risk review tools, e.g., Ecovadis, D&B, to assess supplier service continuity or compliance risk on an ongoing basis
Actively partner with internal teams to harmonize on program practice and tool utilization.
IV - Client Engagement and Customer Relationship Management:
Establish a clear governance, performance management system framework.
Partner with internal governance teams and S2P's Supplier Impact team to measure, track and report program KPIs to enable continuous improvement.
Support Category leads and Category Strategy Managers in translating Pfizer business expectations into a cohesive category strategy and sourcing plan.
V - Business processes and compliance:
Partner with S2P Policy and Compliance Team to establish an S2P Governance Framework
Lead facilitated reviews of EIS supplier spend to ensure contractual adherence with negotiated rates and fees.
VI - Reporting:
Lead the reporting and communication for all EIS balanced scorecard performance indicators.
Drive regular reporting and quarterly meetings to ensure coordinated delivery of committed outcomes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree required.
Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or CPSM designation or equivalent credential is desirable.
