About the Role:
The Senior Finance Manager, reporting to the Director of FP&A, plays a pivotal role in driving transformation of headcount management across Remitly. This dynamic position offers high visibility, fostering impactful contributions and partnering with senior leaders across the organization to steer strategic decisions and long-term growth.

You Will:

  • Spearhead the implementation of a new headcount process through our recent Workday and Adaptive integration, championing change and adoption across the company

  • Drive strategic partnerships and cross-functional projects, leading training and change management for the implementation of new tools and processes

  • Establish a robust data driven framework for evaluating resource decisions, ensuring the highest Return on Investment Capital (ROIC)

  • Collaborate with HR to implement processes and models for evaluating organization structure, with the goal of driving optimal organizational design

  • Business Partner with corporate leaders (e.g. real estate) on long-term workforce planning

  • Identify and lead projects to enhance, automate, and scale processes related to headcount planning

  • Partner with FP&A team on driving comprehensive headcount forecasting and reporting (encompassing compensation, benefits, payroll taxes, stock-based compensation and contractor spend), integral to the annual budget and quarterly forecast process

  • Collaborate with the Compensation Team on stock-based compensation models, projecting burn rate and dilution

  • Enhance headcount reporting and transparency, implementing automated dashboards with key metrics and benchmarking

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting or a related field, MBA a plus

  • Over 10 years of professional experience in financial analysis or people analytics

  • Extensive experience in headcount planning, analysis, and reporting

  • Preferably experience with HR ERP systems (e.g., Workday) and Finance planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights)

  • A passion for continuous process improvement and automation opportunities

  • Exceptional business partnering skills, influencing executives and driving change

  • Proficiency in data manipulation using tools such as MS Excel, Google Sheets, including complex spreadsheets, functions, and macros

  • A love for analyzing data to identify problems and implement solutions, comfortable with large volumes of complex data and presenting findings to senior management

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $112,500-$150,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity
