Summary of duties: Work as a product owner of bank loan, derivatives, and sustainability responsible for identifying, initiating and ensuring alignment of data related efforts and initiatives to data governance vision. Drive standardization of prioritization criteria for data related efforts and initiatives. Work to identify the root causes of the data quality issues and create and manage a project plan to remedy the issues related to bank loans and derivatives through data transformations and business process improvements. Ensure data quality solutions adhere to established data governance policies and standards and enterprise security and privacy requirements. Create Data Discovery documents that involved extensive data analysis by providing source data insights. Write Business rules-based data profiling and source data insights from scratch. Work closely with the development team to make sure business rules are correctly translated into the data transformation. Help in finding the data integrity gap analysis and data profiling to detect data anomalies. Evaluate the existing solution data dictionaries for duplication, gaps and quality issues to ensure that the most accurate business descriptions are available for consumption by the analytics team. Use information technologies including Aladdin trading systems, SQL, Python, Smartcut, Informatica for the data analysis and data transformation.
Qualifications: Masters degree in Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field. Foreign equivalent accepted. 36 months of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: 1. Working with internal and external clients to gather business requirements; 2. Assessing business challenges relating to data onboarding and governance to deliver solutions ensuring data is complete, accurate, and delivered on time for investment management and regulatory reporting requirements; 3. Working with technical languages and tools, including SQL, Python, Jupyter Notebook, Unix commands, and Azure Data Factory and Snowflake to onboard high quality data; 4. Communicating and collaborating with data providers and engineers; registering business, vendor, and technical data elements to build an inventory of available data; 5. Identifying root causes of data quality challenges and proposing solutions; 6. Working with data structures, types, and modelling to document how data should be represented in data platform. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation and the above-listed skills.
