We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic scientist interested in advancing their career in the field of biophysical characterization of and immunologic assessment of biotherapeutic proteins situated within the drug development organizations located in Rahway, New Jersey. The qualified candidate will work under the direction of technical experts to investigate the link of protein drug attributes and biophysical conformations that lead to in vitro immunogenic activity in various in vitro method types and for molecules under different stress conditions. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize in vitro immunogenicity assay types
Develop analytical for biophysical/particle characterization
Collaborate with different teams from discovery, bioanalytical, and development sciences organizations and regular communication with key stakeholders
Publication of the work accomplished
Working with contract research organizations for specialized scientific activities
Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records
Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a PhD or Ph.D. completed within 6 months of hire in Life Sciences (i.e. Immunology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology) or Biomedical Engineering-related degrees.
Desired experience with Immunological Methodology and Techniques (i.e. T cell activation, flow cytometry, cytokine/chemokine measurements, etc.)
Desired working knowledge of protein structure and conformation forms
Strong publication track record
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and across different team structures
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$75,000.00-$86,000.00
