About this position:
The Medical Assistant provides support to patients and co-workers by performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks in different areas of the health center.
Hourly rate $20.29-30.44 based on experience.
What you’ll be doing:
• Performing back-office responsibilities as required by the health center; rooms patients; stock rooms; phlebotomy, labs, patient educations; assists NPs, RNs, and MDs.
• Provides non-judgmental, client-centered care, and provides accurate information by answering questions and providing appropriate resources.
• Assists with optimizing patient flow to keep appointments on schedule.
• Establishes and prepares documents for patient records and patient services.
• Provides patients and co-workers with excellent customer service in all interactions and tasks.

• Must be ok with providing abortion care.
• Must be able to work in a clinic where we see between 20 and 30 patients a day.
• Must be able to embrace teamwork and flexibility of days and locations.
You’ll need to have:
High school diploma or equivalent
One or two years of experience in an office or medical setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications; experience with electronic health records
National Medical Assistant Certification required.
Proof of completed COVID-19 and FLU Vaccinations is required for employment with PPGNHAIK.
Extra points for:
Experience with reproductive healthcare in a clinical office or hospital setting with knowledge of EHR.
