Cybersecurity Techs, We Want You!

Northrop Grumman Space Systems sector's Launch and Missile Defense Systems (LMDS) division is seeking an experienced Classified Cybersecurity Computer Support Tech 3. This position will be located in Chandler, Arizona and will support the Launch Vehicles Business Unit. 

What You’ll Get To Do


Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: 

  • Review input data to verify adequacy and appropriateness of material required for data processing and related operations. 
  • Review output data to verify completeness, accuracy, and conformance to quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate internal records. 
  • Support and maintain inventory management across the program. 
  • Assist with audit analysis process. 
  • Adhere to policy & procedures to maintain system authorizations.
  • Perform actions associated with introduction and release of hardware into/out of the restricted spaces.
  • Assist in administrative actions to support the configuration management process.
  • Work with System Administrators to resolve problems and issues.
  • Perform security training briefings.
  • Review account requests for verified need-to-know, proper training, and program leadership approval.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet these knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • High School diploma and 4 years of IT/Cyber related experience; OR an Associates degree and 2 years of IT/Cyber related experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree and 0 years of IT/Cyber related experience is required
  • Must have experience with the Microsoft Office suite  
  • Candidates must have a current DOD Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) in ordr to be considered (Maintaining the required security clearance will be a condition of continued employment)

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

  • Associates degree and 3 years of experience with IT and Cyber related hardware in a classified environment
  • Aerospace and Defense industry experience
  • DoD 8570 / DoD 8140 IAM Level I baseline certification (example: Security+ CE)
  • Experience performing Information Systems Security duties
  • Familiarity with RMF/DAAPM/JSIG
  • Experience using enterprise ticketing and workflow systems
  • Motivated to make an extra effort to provide quality internal and external customer service
  • Constantly seeks new sources of information and prov
