Job Description:
This job is responsible for ensuring operational data is fit for purpose, defining controls, and monitoring processes are in adherence to enterprise data management standards. Key responsibilities include triaging and remediating data incidents, performing data analysis, training new users, and performing impact analysis stemming from data updates. Job expectations include helping in defining access and ownership of data by domain, conducting quality control, and overseeing data maintenance.
This job is responsible for supporting records management activities across Consumer and Small Business and Marketing, Digital and Specialized Consumer Client Solutions. This role will assist with tasks for structured (applications), unstructured (Shared Drive & SharePoint) records data and physical records. This will include supporting activities such as ongoing maintenance, conducting QA’s (governance routines) and assisting with records management related questions.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent relationship management skills and ability to influence outside of direct team, collaborate with different stakeholders, and drive and implement change
- Commitment to challenging the status quo and identifying program risk issues across the enterprise using a data-driven approach
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Intermediate / Advanced Excel expertise (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
- Intermediate / Advanced PowerPoint expertise to create Executive level presentations
- Strong planning and organizational skills, accepting accountability for tasks and ability to balance multiple competing priorities
- Must be collaborative and curious – a continuous learner
- Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment and think outside the box.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop strategic objectives tied to business needs/goals
- Communicates effectively and confidently and is comfortable engaging with FLU/CF stakeholders
- Experience driving or actively participating in programs/projects
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years data management or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality and data management
- Proven ability to collaborate well with others under tight timeframes
- Ability to influence key stakeholders with credibility and impact
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Responsibilities:
- Ensures data is accurate, complete, and fit for performing data analyses through various testing procedures and data controls which help to identify business insights fit for purpose for a particular product set
- Develops and executes on Enterprise Data Management policies and standards, works across teams to ensure adherence, serves as a key point of contact for all topics related to data compliance, and manages operational elements of the (Enterprise Data Strategy Governance and Operations (EDSGO) relationship
- Manages data related incidents and identifies, communicates, and resolves or escalates issues as needed. Data inquiries include questions related to data issues, availability of data, and potential sourcing alternatives to inform
- Develops, manages, and executes on controls, ensuring tracking, monitoring, and resolution of any control breaches with data platform
- Partners with Business and Technology functions to drive the development of business and functional requirements documents and ensures strategic upstream resolution for data related incidents
