WHAT DOES A BOTTLING LINE OPERATOR DO?
The Bottling Line Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining bottling equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality production of wine and spirits. This role involves working closely with the production team to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety, quality, and efficiency standards. The Bottling Line Operator is a critical part of the manufacturing process, ensuring that products are packaged accurately, safely, and in compliance with company and industry standards.
We are looking for candidates who have the availability to work on second shift (3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday) and work overtime if needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
·Bottling Line Operations: Operate bottling line equipment, including depalletizing, filling, rinsing, capping, labeling, case packing, case labeling, palletization and packaging machinery safely, correctly, and efficiently to meet production goals.·Material Handling: Load and replenish materials such as bottles, labels, caps, and packaging supplies as needed.·Equipment Monitoring: Continuously monitor equipment performance, conduct routine maintenance to identify and troubleshoot minor issues, including performing changeovers and autonomous maintenance on equipment, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.·Quality Control: Regularly perform and document product quality inspections in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with company standards.·Safety Compliance: Prioritize and ensure all safety protocols and SOPs are accurately followed and documented, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment for yourself and others. Perform required housekeeping activities to maintain cleanliness and organization on the production floor.·Changeover Optimization: Engage in SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Dies) activities to streamline changeover processes and improve line performance.·Record Keeping: Accurately document production data, downtime, and other key performance metrics.·Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with supervisors and teammates to support smooth production flow and perform other duties as assigned to contribute to team success.·Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in safety initiatives, Lean Manufacturing practices, problem-solving sessions, and Self-Directed Teams to enhance line efficiencies, quality and overall performance on the bottling line.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE – THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
SKILLS
