Job Description
What you get to do:
- Collaborate with Retail Senior Leadership and Corporate Merchandising to execute product strategies that bring our stores to life and create lasting memories for our guests.
Provide leadership and strategic direction for both the Inventory Control and Visual Merchandising teams.
Ensure efficient flow of goods from the Warehouse to all Retail and Photo locations by working with Area Managers to monitor and maintain appropriate min/max inventory levels.
Oversee the planning and execution of annual physical inventory to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Develop store Bubble Plans and partner with the Visual team to deliver compelling displays that enhance the guest experience and drive sales.
Assist Senior Leadership with weekly reporting and presentations to Corporate Merchandising.
Oversee the ordering process of all consumable products in Merchandise.
Assist Visual Merchandise on large scale seasonal product sets and store refreshes.
Ensure appropriate signage and messaging is in place to support merchandise initiatives and promotions.
Plan and execute artisan signing events featuring Guy Harvey, Furrybones, and Precious Moments.
Maintain healthy inventory levels by facilitating store-to-store, inter-department, and park-to-park transfers.
Work closely with Corporate Merchandising to identify and resolve product gaps through strategic initiatives.
Own the Mail Order process by professionally replying to guest emails or completing phone purchases.
Support the Busch Gardens Pin Trading program by ensuring locations maintain and update pin boards and ambassador lanyards, communicating new pin releases, and coordinating quarterly Pin Trading events.
Partner with Marketing to showcase new products and promotions across Busch Gardens’ social media channels, driving guest engagement and awareness.
Assist Warehouse and in-park locations as needed.
Coach and course correct negative Ambassador behaviors, as needed.
Complete other duties as assigned.
What it takes to succeed:
At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
Must have a minimum of one (1) year management/supervisory experience.
Theme Park or high-volume retail experience preferred.
Dependability, integrity, and organizational skills are a must.
Ability to set priorities and adjust based on additional and unexpected tasks.
