LOCATION AND DATE
In one of our plants worldwide (Canada, USA, MENA, ECE countries) - Open-ended contract as soon as possible.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the Group's industrial policy, the Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for managing all engineering projects within his/her scope of activity, in compliance with Cost/Quality/Delivery/Safety/Environment standards.
You will report to the Corporate Engineering teams.
Your main missions will be to :
Studies / Designs / Realization
Challenge customer needs:
- Carry out or commission design studies to propose costed solutions for engineering projects.
- Prepare technical files and write functional specifications
- Receives and analyzes bids
- Coordinates implementation
- Anticipates risks that may arise during all project phases
- Guarantees process standards
Organization / Planning
- Structures projects (methods, management tools, etc.) and defines operating rules to ensure that work is carried out under the best possible conditions in terms of deadlines, safety, quality and costs.
- Ensures coordination between all parties involved (suppliers, customers, etc.).

Organizes and leads meetings with project stakeholders, according to project phases, to make choices and allocate resources.

Defines objectives and deadlines for different tasks

Guarantees the technical solution, the budget and the project deadline

Coordinates work carried out by all service providers, with the support of site technical teams (internal or external).

Ensures the transfer of equipment ownership to the production & maintenance department

Provides technical expertise and support to plants

Participates in progress plans/design reviews with suppliers and factories (continuous improvement).
PROFILE
Trained as an engineer, you have 10 years' professional experience, including at least 5 years in the process field, in an operating plant, engineering company or design office.
Knowledge of the rules and quality of an agri-food environment would be a plus.
