Job Description

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our medical center occupational health team at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York, NY.

Hours: Monday-Friday flex days of Four 10 hour shifts, scheduled remote on-call responsibilities

Onsite: 222 East 70th Street

This role is only open for experienced APP applicants.

You Will:

  • Provide high quality evaluation and care of patients in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform routine occupational medicine clinical services including pre-placement evaluation, work-related illness or injury (evaluation, treatment, and consultation with specialists when indicated); counseling and management of bloodborne pathogen exposures; medical surveillance exams; fitness for duty evaluations; return to work evaluations; infection control and contact tracing
  • Contribute to the workplace accommodations program at MSK by facilitating patient care and return to work decision-making. This role requires conducting the interactive process and identifying reasonable accommodations to take forward
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and data on clinical activity, organizational activity, and other metrics as required within MSK standards and protocols
  • Interact positively and collaborate with multiple collaborators across MSK, including: patients, coworkers, local managers, Infection Control, Environmental Health & Safety, Human Resources, Employee Assistance Program, Disability Management and Workers’ Compensation vendor partners
  • Be an active participant in designated cross-functional committees related to occupational health

 Qualifications needed:

  • Experience as an Advanced Practice Provider required
  • NCCPA or Nurse Practitioner certification
  • Active NYS PA or NP license or qualification for state licensure
  • BLS certification 
  • Experience in matters of regulatory body standards (e.g. OSHA, NYS, DOH, CDC), Workers’ Compensation, Disability Management & Workplace Accommodations, Workplace Health & Safety, and Medical Surveillance

Pay Range $136,000-180,000K
