Job Description Summary
Receives, stores, and distributes products within the facility by operating a forklift
Job Description
- Read production schedule, customer order, work order to determine items to be staged, gathered, or distributed.
- Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed
- Count items for distribution
- Drive forklift to transport items from warehouse to production line and from production line to warehouse
- Help maintain inventory records by making sure transfers and changes are recorded accurately
- Accurately record paperwork for production and reconciling purposes.
- Maintain a constant flow of product to the lines by delivering bulk product timely.
- Actively engage in safety, participate in safety programs, safety activities, and demonstrate ownership as well as leadership in personal safety of other team members. Report all incidents, near misses, and any safety concerns.
