Sr. Program/Performance Manager

As a Senior Program/Performance Manager at ARETUM, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the performance of our programs, ensuring they are on track to meet objectives and deliverables, and driving continuous improvement to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Increase collaboration and coordination between reporting, analytics, and operations within the Claims Office and other Recovery Divisions to promote reporting consistency through documentation of Standard Operating Procedures and creation of a style guide.
• Create an oversight mechanism to properly meet all data requirements, tell the correct stories, and ensure the correct use and consistent implementation of data.
• Resolve complex issues with program leads and managers
• Identifies options and negotiates with internal and external stakeholders for implementation.
• Advise senior management on fiscal aspects of program management, ensures fiscal integrity, and supports integration of acquisition decisions.
• Coordinate with the Sr. Dashboard Developer and Sr. Data Analyst to expand the inventory of current standard reports and subsequent analytic capabilities for external (outside Claims Office) stakeholders.
• Develop processes to enable staff to respond to ad hoc reporting requests in a more timely and efficient manner.
• Develops and manages cost accounting systems and standards and advise accordingly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Contracts Administration/Management, Accounting, Finance or other relevant discipline. 5 years' relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
• 7+ years’ experience with program and performance management
• Senior-level mastery of the knowledge and skills associated with the complexities of Business Cost Estimating.
• Performs analyses and estimates for a variety of programs and takes on management activities to ensure cost analysis is conducted properly.
• Ability to plan short- and long-term costing projects with high funding levels.
• In-depth knowledge of Federal financial and accounting policies, processes, and standards.
• Experience with relational databases and Tableau
• Can commit to 25% travel (est. 4 trips) to Santa Fe, NM
• Ability to pass a DHS FEMA suitability investigation (Public Trust)
• Existing DHS or FEMA Entry on Duty suitability (preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of Federal financial and accounting policies, processes, and standards. (preferred)
• Experience in accountant firm or business office (preferred)
• Experience working in insurance or national security related field (oprefered)
• Familiarity with Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/FEMA programs or initiatives (preferred)
