Position Summary
Are you client-focused, self-motivated, and able to establish strong working relationships across all levels of an organization? We are seeking a dynamic Contract Senior Recruiter to lead full life-cycle recruitment across both Commercial and Editorial teams within a fast-paced digital media environment.
This recruiter will serve as a strategic talent acquisition partner supporting hiring across Sales, Ad Operations, Editorial, Audience Development, Creative, and additional corporate business functions. The ideal candidate is a recruiting generalist with strong digital media experience who can develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies while managing multiple searches in a high-growth, deadline-driven organization.
This engagement is anticipated to last approximately 3-6 months, with the potential for extension based on business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Lead full-cycle recruitment across Commercial and Editorial organizations, including intake meetings, sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination
- Strategically recruit for roles across:
- Sales & Brand Partnerships
- Audience Development
- Revenue Operations & Ad Operations
- Media Planning?
- Editorial & Content
- Corporate Business functions
- Leverage multi-channel sourcing strategies to develop diverse pipelines of candidates through networking, referrals, job postings, LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, and direct outreach
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers, leadership teams, and HR partners to understand hiring needs, align on recruiting strategies, and manage expectations throughout the hiring process
- Create and execute effective, scalable recruiting processes that ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience
- Partner with interview teams and hiring leaders on recruiting best practices, interview calibration, talent assessment, and pipeline development
- Develop timely and cost-effective staffing strategies to attract highly qualified and diverse talent
- Act as a brand ambassador, effectively representing the organization and creating excitement among prospective candidates
- Serve as a trusted advisor and career coach to candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Maintain accurate candidate tracking, reporting, and recruiting activity within the ATS
- Provide market insights related to talent trends, compensation benchmarks, and hiring competitiveness within digital media and publishing
Qualifications
- 4-6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience within digital media, publishing, advertising, entertainment, or related industries
- Proven experience recruiting across both Commercial and Editorial functions
- Deep experience supporting Editorial organizations and recruiting for newsroom, content, publishing, editorial operations, and creative talent within digital media or publishing environments
- Strong understanding of digital media business models, newsroom structures, advertising ecosystems, and content organizations
- Experience recruiting for Sales, Ad Operations, Revenue Operations, Editorial, Creative, and related Corporate functions
- Demonstrated success recruiting top-tier talent using diverse and creative sourcing methods
- Experience operating in high-volume, fast-paced recruiting environments
- High level of initiative and autonomy with the ability to work independently in a contract capacity
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, sourcing, and interviewing skills
- Collaborative team player with strong organizational and project management capabilities
- Experience using ATS platforms and recruiting technologies including LinkedIn Recruiter and Greenhouse
