GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, Delta Training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training. Technical integration between simulation and C4I systems. Establish /maintain training and exercise networks. Accomplish Risk Management Framework Certification and Accreditation security and risk management activities.</p><p></p><p><span>Advance how our customers operate while you advance your career. Join GDIT and Mission Training Complex – Ft Wainwright, Alaska (MTC-FWA) as a JLVC Technician and build an impactful career in enterprise IT, collaborating with people who are driven and resourceful like you. </span><span>Our work depends on a Technician joining our team to help build and enable the readiness of our Nation's Army in the Arctic!</span></p><p><br/><b><u>MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:</u></b></p><ul><li><span>Integrate LVC systems so commanders and staff can train against realistic scenarios</span></li><li><span>Improve training realism by reducing simulation disconnects and technical limitations</span></li><li><span>Ensure that Army and Joint simulations can exchange information and operate together</span></li><li><span>Configure, test, troubleshoot, and document Linux‑based simulation systems, including creating and updating technical documentation as needed.</span></li><li><span>Apply system updates, quarterly patches, IAVAs, and adjust system configurations or software as needed to resolve user issues and meet design requirements.</span></li><li>Execute and support training events through user account management, workstation player/controller training, and hands‑on exercise execution.</li><li><span>Implement the Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP/Risk Management Framework-DIACAP/ RMF), the standard process under which all Department of Defense (DoD) information Systems achieve and maintain their Authority to Operate (ATO)</span></li><li>Provide rapid and effective technical support during high‑visibility training exercises to ensure uninterrupted operations.</li><li>Comprehensive IT understanding including operating systems, networking, virtualization, and security practices, with hands‑on experience administering both Windows and Linux environments.</li><li>Participates in special projects as required</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:</u></b></p><ul><li>Education: AA in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications and training (Preferred)</li><li>3 years of related experience; preferred military experience at the tactical to operational level</li></ul><ul><li>Required Technical Skills:<ul><li>Experience in configuring, maintaining, operating and integrating JLVC federate systems.</li><li>Understanding of HLA and RTI</li><li>Knowledge of DIS protocols</li><li>Experience with Windows Server and Linux administration</li><li>Practical experience managing gateway services, federation interfaces, and simulation connectivity</li></ul></li><li>Certification: Comp TIA SEC+ certification (preferred)</li><li>Security Clearance Level: Secret clearance is required within 90 days upon starting; must have Interim Secret.</li><li>Required Skills and Abilities:<ul><li>Superb presentation and communication skills</li><li>Strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms on simulation requirements and training objectives</li><li>Knowledgeable in JLVC network administration</li><li>Must be able to work within a technical team to create a high fidelity, realistic training event in a Simulated and Constructive environment to meet customer requirements for distributed and multinational exercises</li></ul></li><li>Location: On Customer Site / moderate travel required to other customer sites throughout AoR</li></ul><p><br/><b><u>GDIT IS YOUR PLACE:</u></b></p><p>At GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do.</p><ul><li>Growth: AI-powered career tool that identifies caree
