Description

The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (http://cbe.nd.edu) at the University of Notre Dame invites applications for an open-rank/tenured position from established individuals with specific research interests at the broad intersection of biology and chemical engineering. Outstanding candidates are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will lead a research program that addresses forefront problems in biomolecular, biochemical, biomedical, biotechnology, or bioprocess engineering, including but not limited to: systems biology, immunoengineering, synthetic biology, metabolic engineering, biomanufacturing, protein engineering, drug discovery, neural engineering, biomaterials, diagnostics, microbial engineering, and data science.

Qualifications

Candidates at the assistant level must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. degree or have completed all but dissertation in Biomolecular Engineering or a closely related field. Candidates at the associate or full professor level must have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
