Position Summary:

Assist Principal Investigators and Research Staff of the BEE Soil and Water Group with ongoing pesticide transport research.

Duties and responsibilities: Aid in the development of screening equations for pesticide contamination of ground and surface water. Assisting in rainfall simulator, water sample acquisition, management, and analysis. Extraction and analysis of herbicides in ground and surface water and sorbed to plant residue samples. Will assist with data management, synthesis and reporting. Perform literature review and complex laboratory tasks with minimal supervision. Assist with field sampling trips. Aid in soil and water website development.
