Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Utilizes the industry’s best practices in the Information Technology field to lead a team of technical experts in massive scalable network design, implementation, and operations.
- Recommends and develops strategic plans for network and security development and operations, hardware and software purchases, budget, and staffing.
- Oversees the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for the organization.
- Manages compliance (PCI, Security compliance, SLA attainment for large customer deployments). Develops, implements, and monitors management information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.
- Participates as senior member of the IT management team in driving the creation and management of innovative cloud-based applications on a massive scale for the enterprise. Consults with management to analyze computer system needs and functional operations, to determine scope and priorities of projects, and to discuss network capacity and equipment acquisitions.
- Leads decision making on network architecture, vendor selection and manages vendor negotiations. Negotiates and contracts with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for services and products.
- Develops, maintains, and tests disaster recovery plans.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages assigned staff in the segment area. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Supports and enforces all company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner, taking corrective action whenever necessary.
Client Responsibilities
This is an internal and external client facing position that requires excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills (listening/verbal/written). One must be able to; manage difficult or emotional client situations; Respond promptly to client needs; Solicit client feedback to improve service; Respond to requests for service and assistance from clients; Meet commitments to clients.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) along with at least 10+ years’ Information Technology, Networking, and Infrastructure
