<p><span><b><b>Job Description:</b></b></span></p><p><span>A vacancy for a </span> <span>Senior Sales/Campaign Manager DACH</span> <span>(d/m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Ottobrunn. The successful applicant will join the Secure Connectivity DACH Sales Team (TCS).</span></p><p></p><p>The position holder will significantly contribute to the growth targets of Space Digital Mission Solutions, particularly in the areas of satellite and secure communications, related services for air, maritime and ground applications in the defined region.</p><p></p><p>The Senior Sales Campaign Manager identifies and pursues future business opportunities, builds trustworthy customer relationships and solid relationships with national/European industries and works closely with internal stakeholders such as the program, commercial department and the KAM organization. The goal is to secure short- and medium-term order intake and to outline and realize long-term business perspectives. This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.</p><p></p><p><b>Your tasks and responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Building a reliable network and trustworthy relationships across the entire customer organization and industry</p></li><li><p>Identification of new business opportunities up to the award of contract, particularly with regard to the special fund of the German Bundeswehr.</p></li><li><p>Sound understanding of the SD portfolio and its related strategy</p></li><li><p>Responsibility for order intake and the successful management of the acquisition process according to the business plan (OP planning) involving all necessary stakeholders (e.g., Finance, C&amp;C, Program, Compliance, Bid Management).</p></li><li><p>Strong ability to lead complex Sales Campaigns incl. its coordination of all involved internal and external stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Active contribution to the successful proposal writing (e.g. writing executive summary, red team review, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Active contribution to contract negotiations</p></li><li><p>Identification of industrial partnerships, initiation of discussions incl. involvement of the necessary internal stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Establish business/capture plans as well as dedicated sales strategies</p></li><li><p>Active contribution to Marketing activities incl. participation in dedicated customer events/exhibitions</p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>This role will require business trips on a regular basis</span></p><p></p><p><b><span>Desired skills and qualifications</span></b></p><p><span>The ideal candidate has knowledge in the area of military procurement processes, </span><span>particularly in Germany and is able to identify key factors in the customer's decision-</span><span>making process to lead campaigns to success. The creation of Capture Plans, the </span><span>development of the acquisition strategy, the support of operational planning, as well </span><span>as the application of the marketing and sales processes, the knowledge in the use of </span><span>Salesforce and standard software tools are also required, as is the strict adherence </span><span>to the relevant Ethics &amp; Compliance regulations. </span><span>Past experience in supporting Public Relations, Marketing, and Communications activities (e.g., Lobbying Plan, Trade Fair Planning, and Participation) is of advantage. You have successfully completed a degree in economics, business administration, </span><span>or engineering</span></p><ul><li><span>Experience in the military environment with a 3 to 5 years professional experience </span><span>in sales, with proven track record within complex military projects</span></li><li><span>Experience in managing complex tenders on German national and European level</span></li><li><span>Ability to translate customer needs into concrete measures and solutions </span><span>(customers’ voice in the company)</span></li><li><span>Experienced with internal sales <span>processes/milestones,</span> e.g., a good understanding </span><span>of offer/bid management, sound understanding of commercial aspects (e.g. </span><span>calculation methods and pricing, offer budget)</span></li><li><span>Flexible working style and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly changing </span><span>environment</span></li><li><span>Approximately 30-40% of working time should be spent with the customer</span></li><li><span>Creativity and "out-of-the-box" thinking</span></li><li><span>Team player and ability to work in international and cross-functional teams</span></li><li><span>German language skills as a native language are mandatory, </span><span>Fluent English language skills in speaking and writing (Spanish or French as a </span><span>bonus)</span></li><li><span>Certification as Sales Professional (e.g. Shipley) of advantage</span></li></ul><p></p><p>#CI_2025</p><p>f0682a678faf</p><p></p><p>This job requires an awareness of any
