About the role

The Senior Manager ERP will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our NetSuite ERP system to support operations and growth. They will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and maintaining NetSuite to meet the evolving needs of our company. This position requires a deep understanding of NetSuite functionality, coupled with strong business knowledge, problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset. This position will collaborate closely with cross functional teams across the organization to streamline processes and enhance system capabilities while ensuring data security and integrity. The Senior Manager will work closely with these teams to transform business specifications into system capabilities, managing the end-to-end technical design, development, quality assurance, implementation, and ongoing post-production operations management.

The person in this role will be responsible for administering and continued improvement of the NetSuite ERP system including optimizing user adoption, configuring solutions, spearheading strategic initiatives, and contributing to overall operational efficiency in a high-growth, dynamic environment.

Essential Functions of the Job 

  • Manage and lead the ERP system use across all functional areas of the company. 
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure teams are getting the most out of the ERP system, including implementation of new functions and features as required by the business. 
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure the ERP system accurately captures and reports all necessary data. 
  • Manage the ERP workflows throughout the business lifecycle.  For example, from PO initiation through to order fulfillment, product receipt, invoicing and payment. 
  • Manage the team supporting NetSuite, including internal and external resources. 
  • Maintain all integrations between the ERP and other systems.  For example, connecting with Point of Sale (POS) systems to ensure cohesive operations and data flow. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Augusta National and NetSuite – building relationships to manage contracts, renewals and to address any systems issues. 
  • Coordinate and oversee the ERP system updates and new releases to ensure they meet the company’s requirements and are delivered on schedule with little impact to operations. 
  • Monitor ERP system performance and make adjustments as necessary to improve processes and system functionality. 
  • Ensure data integrity and security within the ERP system.  Protect internal controls through system reviews and audits.  Enforce segregation of duties. 
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to ERP users, addressing any issues or challenges. 
  • Prepare regular reports on ERP system usage and status for senior management. 
  • Execute regular reviews and audits of access and user roles & security 
  • Build ERP capability roadmaps to prioritize and plan future development & integrations, ensuring alignment to business priorities. 
  • Develop and implement training programs for users across departments to ensure efficient use of the ERP system. 
  • Interact with peers, department leaders, and management to present business issues and improvement plans. 
  • Stay current on ERP market and technology trends, new functionality, and vendor offerings.  Works with management to identify current and future needs and opportunities based on industry trends.

Physical Demands: 

  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties. 
  • Occasionally required to move and carry up to 30 pounds and/or drive a golf cart. 
  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. 
  • Required intervals of walking, standing, stair climbing, and sitting during the day.

  • Performs other duties which are deemed by management to be an important part of the job
