What would you do?

Position: Sr. Network Engineer: L2 - Voice
Location: Plano TX (5 days onsite in a week), 24/7 rotational shift.

Responsibilities
•    Hands-on experience with Data Center Network Routing, Switching technologies, and protocols including TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, BGP, OSPF, ISIS.
•    Proficient knowledge in firewall concepts, configuration, and management of firewalls such as Palo Alto and Checkpoint.
•    Troubleshooting experience with Data Center and Enterprise-based Wired and Wireless networks hardware platforms (Nexus, Cisco Wi-Fi, Arista Wi-Fi) and architectures.
•    Proficient knowledge in configuring, troubleshooting, and managing network load balancers like F5 and Netscaler.
•    Expertise in IPv4, IPv6 addressing & subnetting, IP Address management, and DNS concepts & troubleshooting.
•    Familiarity with network voice infrastructure such as Cisco Unified Communication troubleshooting and management.
•    Understanding of SDN concepts and troubleshooting.
•    Experience collaborating with Service Provider Teams for WAN circuit faults and BGP issues.
•    Engagement with partner support teams, including the TAC support teams of principal vendors like Cisco and Palo Alto.
•    Serve as a technical escalation point for L1-level NOC.
•    Execute Method of Procedure (MoP) for implementing changes or troubleshooting issues.
•    Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate network issues effectively.
•    Knowledge of network troubleshooting tools and monitoring platforms.
Credentials and Experience:
•    Industry-standard certifications preferred (e.g., CCNP).
•    5-7 years of experience in Network Operations teams.
