Senior Regulatory and Registration Specialist

This role can be home-based across Europe or </span><span>Turkey</span><span> or</span><span> </span><span>located</span><span> in any of our European/Turkish locations</span><span>.  </span></span><span> </span></p><p><span><span>The purpose of this role is to act as go-to person within EAME for business-initiated registration activities and ensure regulatory </span><span>forward-looking</span><span> compliance.</span></span><span> </span></p><p><span><span> </span></span><span> </span></p><p><b><u><span>Role Responsibilities:</span></u><span><span> </span></span><span> </span></b></p><p><b><span>As a </span><span>Senior Specialist Regulatory and Registration</span><span>, you will </span><span>be responsible for</span><span>:</span></b><span><span> </span></span><span> </span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Monitoring and updating internal stakeholders on developments in REACH and other chemical regulations within the EAME region.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Managing the submission of substance registration and notification dossiers.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Organizing and </span><span>facilitating</span><span> project meetings with business partners and other stakeholders, along with preparing regular project updates.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Acting as the focal point for REACH authorities, including managing follow-ups on decisions and correspondence.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Assisting</span><span> in substance identification by providing criteria for </span><span>determining</span><span> whether a material is a substance or polymer.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Monitoring, interpreting, and conducting impact assessments on specific chemical regulations and effectively communicating findings to internal stakeholders.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Developing and implementing processes and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Supporting REACH awareness assessments and audits for various sites and offices.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Delivering training sessions to R&amp;D teams, commercial teams, associates, customers, vendors, and tollers to enhance REACH awareness.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Representing</span><span> Huntsman in industry and trade associations.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><b><u><span>Experience and Competencies:</span></u><span><span> </span><span> </span></span><span> </span></b></p><p><b><span>What we are looking for:</span></b><span><span> </span></span><span> </span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Bachelor’s or </span><span>Master’s degree in Chemistry</span><span>, (Life) Science or an equivalent relevant degree in Technical, Science or Engineering. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>At least 5 years of experience in a REACH, product stewardship or regulatory affairs role in the chemical industry is </span><span>required</span><span>, with an awareness and understanding of chemical processes and products. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Deep understanding of chemistry, REACH, </span><span>CLP</span><span> and chemical control legislations relevant for Huntsman businesses. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Sound project management experience. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Excellent working knowledge of SAP-EHS, IUCLID and IT tools (such as MS Excel, power query, databases, impact assessment tools). </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Ability to communicate and work effectively with relevant legislative bodies. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Comfortable working with </span><span>different cultures</span><span> and through multiple time zones. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Able to influence people and adapt to changes. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Excellent communication skills and customer focus. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Contribute to innovative ideas with a good amount of curiosity. </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Self-motivated and able to use initiative</span><span>.  </span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Have a proactive approach to working, with the ability
