Job Description
- Provides guidance and general direction for department operations, working through staff to ensure accurate and timely production.
- Supervises the Quality Management staff with input into the hiring/firing, disciplining, training and development and performance reviews. Assists in the establishment of performance and productivity standards as well as with the determination of staffing needs.
- Collaborates with the department director on long and short-term planning relating to the general operations of Quality Management services in accordance with identified procedures.
Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited School of Nursing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland is required.
- A minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional experience performing Quality Management, Utilization Management or the equivalent is required. A minimum of two years of lead/supervisory experience is required.
