We are actively seeking a skilled Bridge Staff Engineer II to join our dedicated team in Lehigh Valley, PA. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, analyzing, and inspecting critical structures, contributing to projects that make a lasting impact on the built environment.

• Structural Design and Analysis:

               · Design and analyze a variety of structures, including bridges, culverts, buildings, and retaining walls

               · Develop solutions for the maintenance, repair, or replacement of existing structures

               · Develop design reports in accordance with PennDOT Bridge design standards

• Bridge Inspections:

               · Perform National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) bridge inspections to evaluate the condition and safety of infrastructure

               · Prepare NBIS bridge inspection reports

•  Collaborating with Project Teams: 

               · Work alongside Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other Staff Engineers to deliver high-quality results

• Project Deliverables: 

               · Support the preparation of project deliverables, including manuals, specifications, and documentation

• Ensuring Compliance: 

               · Uphold company policies, quality control standards, and best practices throughout all phases of project execution

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Transportation/Structures emphasis or related degree
• EIT or PE licensure (or ability to secure through reciprocity within 6 months)
• 3+ years of experience in bridge design
• NBIS bridge inspection certification is preferred
• Knowledge of PENNDOT design standards and procedures
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 
• Working familiarity of Microstation
• Team player with strong skills in communication, planning, and organization
• Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices (Valid U.S. driver’s license is required)
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
