Senior Product Manager - Microsoft 365 Trusted Platform

Microsoft runs on Trust. The Microsoft 365 Trusted Platform team focuses on enabling and upholding customer trust across Microsoft 365 products and cloud offerings. We deliver engineering solutions to meet regulatory and audit requirements for compliance, privacy, security, and transparency.  

 

As a Senior Product Manager in the M365 Trusted Platform PM team, you will drive impact through data while exercising and enhancing your technical and leadership acumen. You will set an example to foster an insight-driven culture within M365 Trusted Platform engineering org and enable the entire engineering org to make data-driven decisions.  

 

You work closely with internal business and engineering teams to deliver clarity, prioritization and high-quality deliverables to our business and engineering stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Lead by example and set up a framework to communicate business impact from trust engineering investments with data-driven insights.
• Anticipate unknown or unmet customer needs within multiple feature areas across divisions. Identify any patterns of root problems and define solution options for those feature areas across divisions. 
• Influence and drive business impact across the organization, define and track success criteria for multiple feature areas across divisions.
• Identify short-term and long-term investment opportunities, prioritize and engage partners to garner support for those feature areas. 
• Collaborate to plan and design secure, scalable solutions; you own the vision, roadmap, strategy, in addition to feature specifications for the service.  You will use your people and technical skills interacting with business owners, engineers, and auditors to ensure we have the right designs that meet our needs. 
• Support engineering during design, build, and release ensuring we deliver on expectations and achieve successful adoption. 
• Define, Monitor and Manage service health and adoption metrics, OKRs and vision.    
• Practice a growth mindset with a desire to continually learn and apply new skills.
• Learn and embrace diverse perspectives. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Experience with data analytics.
• Knowledge and experience with Software Secure Development Lifecycle.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

• Solid technical capability with a track record of driving multiple products from inception to delivery. Familiarity with cloud technologies is a huge plus. 
• Experience and knowledge about cloud compliance and audits.
