About the role

The Role:
Analyze requirements for end to end testing, create test design document and execute ensure functionality. Remain involved throughout the analysis and development process to provide early feedback on usability and functionality of the feature being developed. Perform Release testing within defined timelines to deliver bug free solution. Review existing test plans to identify tests that can be automated. Help in automating them so they become a part of continuous test integration. Test using client specific data, either loaded or created on the appropriate software version. Completely own and escalate issues in a timely manner. Create test plans, scenarios, and procedures for new software. Identify project risks and recommend steps to minimize those risks. Implement software testing, using either manual or automated programs and exploratory testing, and evaluate results. Document and report defects or problems with software. Provide feedback to software developers and stakeholders regarding usability and functionality.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, IT, or a related field and 2 years of experience in a related occupation.
  • Requires 2 years of experience in the following: MySQL; Agile Testing/Methodologies; Regression Testing; ALM Quality Center; SDLC; Unix Systems; JIRA; System testing.
