About the role
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Investment Consultant to join Davy. This Director level position is responsible for providing sophisticated investment consulting services to Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients. This role combines deep technical expertise with exceptional relationship management skills to deliver comprehensive investment solutions that address complex wealth management needs. In the role, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Strategic Investment Advisory
- Lead the development and implementation of tailored investment strategies for UHNW clients, incorporating their unique objectives, risk tolerance, and multi-generational wealth transfer goals
- Provide expert guidance on portfolio construction, asset allocation, manager selection, and risk management across traditional and alternative investments
- Conduct sophisticated portfolio analysis and optimization, including stress testing and scenario analysis
Team Leadership & Business Development
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the professional development of the UHNW practice
- Participate in new business development initiatives and prospect meetings
- Contribute to the firm's thought leadership through white papers, presentations, and speaking engagements
- Help shape the strategic direction of the UHNW practice
Requirements
About you
We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
- 12+ years of investment consulting or wealth management experience, with significant focus on UHNW clients
- Advanced degree in finance, economics, or related field
- CFA designation
- Comprehensive understanding of portfolio management, risk analysis, and alternative investments
- Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills
- Superior communication and presentation abilities
- Proven track record of building and maintaining UHNW client relationships
Preferred
- Additional relevant certifications (CAIA, CFP, etc.)
- Experience with family office structures and governance
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in portfolio analytics and risk management software
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities
- Familiarity with major investment management platforms
- Experience with capital markets assumptions and portfolio optimization tools
