Senior Operations Manager (80-100%)

<p>About the Role</p> <p> </p> <p>For our Italian team we are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager who brings primary insurance operational expertise coupled with a strong operational assurance bias. This role is key in facing iptiQs distribution partners in our B2B2C model and plays an active role designing target operating models in collaboration with senior stakeholders.</p> <p> </p> <p>Role requirements:</p> <p> </p> <p>Be part of the Due Diligence to be performed on new partners and represent the Operations function when assessing and onboarding new deals.</p> <p>Understand iptiQs business &amp; platform capabilities and combine them to reach maximum value for our distribution partners and end customers.</p> <p>Develop end-to-end customer journeys which combine innovative insurance solutions with our distribution partner's needs.</p> <p>Act as a leader in the organization to facilitate solutions to improve partner initiatives and collaborate with other departments to drive shared goals.</p> <p>Take charge of iptiQ's Third Parties (MGA's) oversight responsibility in Italy, ensuring that services are in line with agreed terms and that our operational governance model is respected.</p> <p>Partner performance management: SLA reviews aligning with conduct risk, issue management, partner risk assessments and audits</p> <p>Coordinate outsourcing partners (internal and external) supporting the Italian team.</p> <p>Efficiently support the ideation process of new distribution partners or products for iptiQs B2B2C model.</p> <p>Closely collaborate with key members of the organization in Operations, Business Development, Product &amp; Technology to design business models.</p> <p>Collate, review and deliver regular Management Information and Key Performance reports (i.e. Complaints reports, SLAs monitoring) to support business strategy</p> <p> </p> <p>About the Team</p> <p> </p> <p>iptiQ EMEA L&amp;H and P&amp;C is part of Swiss Re Group, which handles all our closed and open life, health, property, and casualty insurance portfolios across Europe. We are a start-up, established to deliver innovative protection solutions sold direct to consumers through Distribution Partners. Our team delivers the coordination, infrastructure, and competences key to driving forward this new business, while working closely with the rest of the Swiss Re Group.</p> <p> </p> <p>The role is part of our existing team in Italy to support the growth of our business. We are looking for a forward-thinking and innovative self-starter to undertake this key support role for one of Swiss Re's pivotal initiatives.</p> <p> </p> <p>About You</p> <p> </p> <p>Nobody is perfect and meets 100% of requirements. If you however meet some of the criteria below, we will be happy to meet you:</p> <p>You have a minimum of 6 years' experience in Life, Health, Property and Casualty insurance administration and operations in Italy.</p> <p>You have a bachelor's or master's degree in business administration or a similar field. </p> <p>You are able to drive solutions in context of high ambiguity.</p> <p>You are proficient in Italian and English, Spanish a plus. </p> <p>You are proficient in MS Office, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel.</p> <p>You enjoy leading work across multiple teams and facing off to key contacts &amp; partners, those being internal or external.</p> <p>Effective communication sophisticated information towards heterogeneous stakeholder groups </p> <p>You feel comfortable in an area that is fluid and developing with priorities that change rapidly.</p> <p>Some Legal knowledge would be a plus.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please make sure to submit your CV in English language</p> <p>We provide feedback to all candidates via email.
