THIS IS NOT A TELEWORK POSITION. CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK IN THE OFFICE.
Location: 2415 N. Monroe St., Suite 400, Tallahassee, FL 32303.
Some travel may be required.
This is a full-time Career Service position, working 40 hours per week.
Regular business hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST, Monday to Friday.
Salary to be determined, based on relevant experience, $50,000 maximum.
If selected for hire, current DCF employees will be compensated in accordance with the DCF salary policy.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- At least two (2) years of professional experience working where the primary responsibilities are project or program focused.
Preference will be given to candidates who meet the following:
- At least two (2) years of experience in managing a team.
- Experience working for DCF in the ESS program or other community agencies, non-profits, and other Governmental agencies.
- Have a bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent work experience.
- Experience working in an emergency management/disaster response and recovery capacity, which should consist of directly working in one of these roles or supporting one of these functions.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
This is a professional position in the Office of Economic Self Sufficiency (ESS) serving as Government Analyst to the Strategic Programs and Innovation team. This position requires careful time management and initiative to plan and coordinate ESS Program projects, and assist with communications needs, legislative inquiries, and change management activities. The incumbent will support and collaborate with the Communications & Legislative Affairs Liaison and colleagues to determine the best methods for identifying, prioritizing, and tracking program communication plans and projects.
