Job description:
Capgemini is looking to hire a Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our team. Some of the requirements as follow:Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business teams and technical analysts to understand business requirements.
- Perform ongoing monitoring, automation, and refinement of data engineering solutions
Required Skills:
- 5+ years DW/BI development experience in large-scale warehouse program with mandatory 2+ years of hands-on Azure and Snowflake data platform experience
- Data Engineering/Development experience with hands-on in writing sophisticated SQL, stored procs in Snowflake DB
- Experience working with different data storage options including Azure BLOB storage, ADLS Gen 2, Key vaults and Databricks Delta Lakehouse
- Experience with Azure Data Factory-based data flow orchestration & execution.
- Databricks hands on experience is must
- Strong development hands-on background in crafting Snow pipe, and sophisticated data transformations and manipulations using Data Pipelines, SQL Procedures
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake external tables concepts, Staging, Snow scheduler & performance tuning.
- Teradata working experience is plus
- Past working experience in a fast-paced and agile environment
- Good to have working experience with on-shore / off-shore/ near-shore model
- Gen Ai experience is a plus
