RVO Health is looking for an Associate Director, Medicare Product Manager to improve how seniors find and select their Medicare plans. 

88% of seniors report that they find enrolling in a Medicare plan to be confusing and overwhelming. Our mission is to leverage capabilities to provide clarity, create confidence, and ultimately help seniors find the right coverage for their individual health and financial needs.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for day to day operational ownership of our digital insurance partnership. Your mission will be to improve RVO Health’s value add, while helping seniors find the right Medicare plan for them. We are seeking a strategic, driven, and collaborative individual who can own the consumer experience strategy and drive its successful execution by working effectively with various stakeholders.You’ll collaborate with a motivated, data-driven team across product, finance, engineering, data, compliance, and creative functions to launch new products, improve capabilities, and rapidly iterate.

Where You'll Be

To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health operates on a hybrid in-office work schedule. We expect employees to work from our South Charlotte office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. You are welcome to work remotely Mondays and Fridays if you wish.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as product expert and business decision maker
  • Directly manage a team as well as influence and lead cross-functional teams to achieve client business goals and maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Align stakeholders, set the product roadmap, prioritize features, build consensus, and coordinate product schedules with marketing and engineers to ship high-quality experiences
  • Own and write product specifications and user stories
  • Support RVOH priorities across the scope of business operations, business development, and partnership development
  • Gain hands-on experience in operations, digital marketing, finance, and strategy that will help you succeed as a general manager
  • Become the point person for client financial and operational performance, understanding key levers and ways in which we can drive impact and able to communicate performance to stakeholders across the business
  • Work directly with senior leadership to design and execute overall strategy to drive profitable growth of the business
  • Optimize value and retention of existing clients through product performance
  • As necessary, facilitate the resolution of client escalations and prioritize client/market needs appropriately
  • Lead and collaborate on launch and go-to-market coordination and collaboration
  • Foster a culture of testing, data-driven decision making, and accountability for metrics and results

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of business services, product and / or digital operations and marketing experience; healthcare experience a plus
  • A willingness to dive deep into segments of the healthcare and / or digital media markets; experience or interest here would be a plus
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a track record of driving positive change in prior experiences
  • A self-starter with a positive attitude that is excited at the prospect of operating in an ambiguous, dynamic environment
  • A talent for inspiring others — getting individuals and teams to embrace change by sharing new perspectives, pushing people to take on new challenges, and understanding what motivates individuals to do their best
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills along with a hands-on approach to leadership and client management
  • Confidence managing day-to-day operational P&L; ability to understand key trends, areas of opportunities and prioritize greatest areas of impact
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, written and verbal

  • Starting Salary: $112,500 - $145,000
